Collections
When a buyer pays through CoPay, the escrow fee is added on top of the seller’s price. This means sellers always receive their full amount in their CoPay wallet.
M-Pesa Collections: 2% and below
Airtel Money Collections: 2.5% and below
Bank Payments: 3% and below
Payouts
When sellers withdraw from their CoPay wallet:
Mobile Money (M-Pesa, Airtel): KES 45 escrow service charge per withdrawal
Bank Transfer: KES 80 escrow service charge per withdrawal
Tip: Withdraw in bulk (daily or weekly) to maximize savings.
Refunds
If a transaction is cancelled, buyers are refunded in full. Refunds are processed instantly back to the original payment method. Refund transactions attract a standard KES 45 escrow service charge.
